Do you install motorized shades in Westchester County?

Yes. We provide consultations, measuring, installation and service throughout Westchester, including Scarsdale, Rye, Bronxville, Bedford and Chappaqua.

Can shades be motorized on very tall windows?

Yes, within the limits of the shade system and fabric. Tall and hard-to-reach windows are among the most common reasons clients choose motorization.

Should motorized shades be planned during construction?

If you are building or renovating, planning early lets you choose hardwired motors and recessed pockets. Battery motors are available for finished rooms.

Will motorized shades work with my smart-home system?

Most systems we install work with Apple Home, Google Home and Alexa, and with whole-home systems such as Lutron HomeWorks and Control4.

Can I see fabric samples first?

Yes. Order samples online, or we can bring fabrics to your consultation.

Tailored to Your Home

Shades Tailored to Westchester Homes

Great rooms and tall windows

Two-story and oversized windows that are hard to reach by hand become effortless with motors and grouped control.

Skylights and clerestories

High windows that bring in heat and glare can be shaded on a schedule, without ladders or poles.

Sunrooms and pool houses

Solar fabrics cut glare and UV while keeping views of the garden and landscape.

Historic homes

Careful inside-mount fits for older casings and divided-light windows, so shades respect the architecture.

New Builds & Renovations

Planning Motorization in New Builds & Renovations

The best time to plan motorized shades is before walls and ceilings close. Our pre-wiring consultation covers shade types, mounting and the motorization wiring requirements, so your builder and electrician can plan around them.

Hardwired or battery

Hardwired motors suit construction and major renovations. Rechargeable battery motors suit finished rooms with no wiring at all.

Recessed shade pockets

Ceiling pockets hide the roller completely. We share pocket dimensions so your builder can frame them correctly.

Working with your builder, electrician and AV integrator

We coordinate measuring and installation timing with your team, and connect shades to the control system you choose.
